EcoDist Plus wins comparison test by Heimwerker Praxis magazine 03/2009
Testing victory for EcoDist Plus laser range finder

A winner - the EcoDist Plus from geo-FENNEL emerged as the entry class victor in a comparison test of four laser range finders from Bosch, kwb, Skil and geo-FENNEL in the magazine Heimwerker Praxis. In the 2/2009 edition of the trade magazine, the testers praised not only the convincing performance but also the low weight and handiness of the model.

The laser range finder was also profiled on its exceptional price-performance ratio and particularly in the disciplines of measurement accuracy and configuration.

The EcoDist Plus is ideal for all professionals from all trade fields, but also for beginners. And now we have it in black and white.

World’s first - Leica DISTO™ D5 with digital pointfinder 02/2009
The Leica DISTO™ D5 is designed with many functions and features to make measuring easier, particularly when you are working outdoors. Its large, high resolution colour display presents the measurement results and additional information in an easy to read format. A wealth of functions helps you quickly and precisely to resolve almost any measurement situation. A robust housing gives optimum protection against splash water and dust.

Digital pointfinder
The integral digital pointfinder with 4x zoom and 2.4“ colour display makes finding the target at long distances much easier. Its high resolution capability provides a sharp, crystal-clear image, which allows measurements to be taken even in glaring sunshine.

Tilt sensor
Thanks to the in-built tilt sensor, you can quickly and simply measure tilts up to ± 45°. In addition the tilt sensor allows you to take absolutely horizontal measurements or to measure over the top of obstructions (horizontal distance). The measurement results achieved in this way are completely reliable.

Power Range Technology™
The integrated Power Range Technology™ allows you to measure large distances very simply. Measure up to 100 m without a target plate, and even up to 200 m using a target plate, without having to take a single step.

Spot-on measurement
The laser makes it possible! The laser dot is clearly visible, therefore you always know exactly where you are measuring, which is especially useful in difficult to access places. So you can take absolutely precise measurements, even over long distances.

Breakthrough idea: geo-FENNEL successfully launches first sales campaign. 01/2009
Sales impetus set in motion with "Powerplay".

geo-FENNEL, together with the Kassel Huskies, is going on the offensive: "Powerplay", launched in November 2008, is the first of four sales campaigns and was taken up successfully by the traders. The package of measures, which effectively supports sales activities, is gathering pace with the coming campaign "Sales Fire on Ice" in January/February and "Best of Five" in March/April. The fourth campaign, "We are the Champions", forms the dynamic conclusion in May/June. The package offers traders exclusive bestsellers from the geo-FENNEL product range under particularly attractive terms – accompanied by coordinated measures aimed at effective advertising.
